Ceramics and glass

If you visit us and want to enjoy or try a coffee drink in the shop, we serve it in a ceramic cup or a glass. There are multiple reasons for this. One of the reasons is that I come from Austria and only know it that way. In Italy, too, one of the cafes or cappuccinos is served in a ceramic cup. These cups have a shape that is completely adapted to the coffee, are thick-walled to store good heat, which they absorb by preheating on the espresso machine. An espresso or cappuccino from a cup, in my personal opinion, just tastes even better. In addition, the environment is relieved with every unused to-go mug. A small step for the environment, but at least something is being done. It is not up to us to point a finger at others, they get their to-go drink served in an environmentally friendly mug, but we try to be as sustainable as possible when we can. it is not our goal to educate and start a discussion about environmental protection. We want to start doing something active for our environment, now, with everything we can. Every little action helps.
